Your student profile and practice

No goSTAAR account is required. Your nickname and selected grade are stored on your device. Your answers, practice scores, and Idea Studio drawings are not uploaded to our server. You can edit your profile in the app or remove local app data by deleting the app.

Downloading exams

The app requests subjects, exam lists, questions, and images from quiz.vidopt.com. These requests identify the content needed, such as subject, grade, and exam year. Our server receives network information including your IP address, request time, requested URL, and app or browser information. Standard server logs support service operation, troubleshooting, and security. Routine web logs rotate daily and retain 14 archived rotations. We do not use these logs for advertising, student profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases. goSTAAR uses StoreKit on your device to verify purchases and restore access. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple handles purchase records under its own privacy policy.

Children and advertising

goSTAAR has no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. We do not ask children to provide an email address, phone number, precise location, or contacts. Parents and guardians can contact us about privacy or support. Please avoid sending student names, answers, or other unnecessary personal information in support messages.
